Why do I do what I do?

After I graduated college, I started working my "big girl" corporate job...and I quit within the first week. I had built my business up throughout college, but never really saw it as a viable career path until I realized, while sitting in my cubicle, that it was the only thing I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I get to capture once in a lifetime memories for people in the sweetest time of their lives; how many other people get to say that?!

Now, I have a team of amazing photographers so that Abigail Ann Photography can serve more couples every year! I've vetted, interviewed, and trained these professionals to provide an amazing experience for your wedding day.

So, how does it work? If I'm unavailable or already booked for your wedding day, one of my associates will take my place! They will photograph your engagement session and wedding day, while I remain the point of contact throughout the planning process, edit all of your photos in my signature style, and deliver those photos to you!

Wedding FAQs

Do you shoot destination weddings/other sessions?

ABSOLUTELY! I am based in Minneapolis, Minnesota but am always available for travel. I love visiting new places, so you will also receive a discount on your package if it's a destination wedding.

Will there be a second shooter?

I believe having a second shooter is a HUGE benefit to your final wedding gallery, so I always include them in my packages. Don't want one? Let's chat and we can always remove it from the package!

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Hours can always be added to a package so that I can capture all of your special moments! I will NEVER leave before I've captured everything important to you. Additional hours can be added on day-of for $400/hr.

What kind of gear do you use?

I use Nikon Z6ii's and a variety of lenses including my trusty 35mm, 50mm, and a 24-70mm. My associates all use the same or extremely similar gear as I do!

Will you help me with the day-of timeline?

YES! I am here to help! I love to help my clients make a well-built and robust timeline for their wedding day. Ultimately my job is for you to have the best day ever with the least amount of stress, and I believe a great timeline is a huge part of that!

Do you have any travel fees?

Weddings 90+ miles from the Twin Cities do have a $0.50/mile fee, as well as a hotel needed for the night of the wedding!
